i think a little bit of that was trying to jokingly be a little more positive after yesterdays outburst haha. but then they have a good quali too. i wonder how much had to do with settup changes, and how much it had to do with lower track temps. hopefully they dont go backwards during the race

Stroll might not be a reference. But how about Vettel? Was he a bad qualifier?

At the beginning of the season Lance went out and said “People say he’s super good and I beat him…” they were 4-4 ended 18-5.

More interesting and I found it incredible that the media didn't bring up Alonso's dominance on Lance; only Zak Brown made a joke about it last year. Lance's performance this year would be the end of any other driver's career on the grid.

Last year McLaren out scored Aston 302 - 280 points. And there is an argument of Lance not performing well to keep that championship position.

I hope at least that his input can help improve the car...
