Not sure.

NOR and LEC are out doing some race stints but they must be on very different fuel loads
LEC is about a stint behind. NOR is on his last stint now. LEC in middle stint.

For sure. Charles makes mid 34, Lando mid 32.

Charles is about 20 laps behind in the race, 28 vs 46 give or take.

Very good times from Charles if I'm seeing them correctly.

yeap on their second stint with hards LEC is 1-1.5s off per lap.

we do not know fuel loads and engine modes but McLaren shows exceptional race pace

Surely must be engine modes and fuel. 1.5 sec is too large

Dont think its fuel because Lando did 57 laps. A proper full race stint for Bahrain. Not sure if fuel tanks can hold more than 100 liters in F1 cars.

But there could definitely be different engine modes between them. Perhaps Ferrari running more conservative on power to hold their horses (pun intended) close to their chest.

Oh boy, now we're getting into the "is it engine mode differences or is the team actually 2 secs slower??" part of the week...

2 seconds is way too much to be honest. The last stint can’t possibly be fully comparable for reasons we don’t know.

Edit: Apparently Leclerc was on C1 for the last stint so the last stint is not comparable.

But on the other stints, if you line them up there was a gap of around 0.3s - 0.4s per lap on average.

That's about right.

First stints: 35.0s vs 35.5s
Second stints: 34.0s vs 34.5s
Last stints: 32.5s vs. 33.8s

0.4 secs/lap was what I had down too.

Hopefully there are some other non-immediate factors that can make up that gap, but also I wouldn't be surprised if McLaren really was 0.4s/lap faster.

The car certainly looks easier to drive than the SF-25, though it seems Ferrari did make an improvement in that area compared to yesterday at least.
