Reading this, I feel like they have given up qualifying pace for race pace, built a more stable car they can set up quickly and leave it in Max's hands to win from the back. It is extremely concerning though that he says they have chucked everything at the car so they start well, it doesn't look like the car to beat so far..pantherxxx wrote: ↑14 Mar 2025, 00:32Red Bull’s technical director Pierre Waché believes his team are going “all-in” on the start of the new F1 2025 season.
The Red Bull RB21 has seen the Milton Keynes-based squad take a different approach to extracting the maximum potential of the machine for what will be the final year of the current ground-effect regulations.

I think all they have done is move some upgrades early on to start off as strong as possible. As hinted in the article 2026 will be a bigger concern and unless Red Bull starts winning races early enough there's no point in worrying about 2025 anymore. As it stands, McLaren will likely have an easy title defense along with one of their drivers (Lando with very high probability) being the WDC IMO.Dee wrote: ↑14 Mar 2025, 01:18Reading this, I feel like they have given up qualifying pace for race pace, built a more stable car they can set up quickly and leave it in Max's hands to win from the back. It's not a surprise, I've been saying it for ages.Vettel165 wrote: ↑14 Mar 2025, 08:38I think its season over for us before it even started. We looked to be at least 0.4-0.5s down on low fuel. It was a fantastic run until it lasted. Max cant to his magic anymore with this car. A very sad day, expected much more. Now we are going to see Mclaren vs Ferrari for the title, we have no chance. Thats my first intuition, i would give everything that I am wrong. The car is stable on high fuel, but that doesnt matter, we are slow.
Sorry to say this but its game over.
