- If McLaren can just nail the start they are going to walk it, wet or dry. They have more downforce than Verstappen so I am not expecting any miracles even if it's wet.

- RB will be pretty content given how the weekend started, they had good speed in the first two sectors but then the tyres started dropping in S3. Also, running the lowest drag of the top teams. Lawson had a mare, but we'll see what he can do on a more traditional track with a proper FP3.

- Ferrari will not be happy with that given they've been historically strong here and they were looking fast in practice. I think they left time on the table in Q3, but not nearly enough to compete for pole.

He did a 1:19.312 in FP1, so id imagine that is sufficient to be within the 107% rule. Even 107% on Lando's 75second P1 time is 80seconds so he's within that - just.

The problem for Ferrari is that Leclerc didn´t get to do that final Q3 lap in which everybody improved a lot. Likely, he could have gone much faster because Ferrari, in all likelyhood, is not slower t than Toro Rosso and Williams. As for Hamilton, he´s right where he belongs or, actually, this will likely be his best qualifying of the season as Sainz and others will improve and Melbourne being his best track, historically

Ham's time was set on used and Charles on new on their first runs, neither improved on the second run because the tires were out of operating window and according to autoracer the car had understeer issues, the temps dropped but Ferrari did the same pre laps they were doing when the tires were overheating. i believe Charles also made a mistake somewhere, could be wrong,

I doubt I need to be concerned like at all because this is only the first Quali session. One thing about Antonelli that you will learn very quickly and everyone who followed his junior career in karting will see (Maybe in this race) he doesn't make the same mistake twice.

Plus, F1 Gods gave this kid the one thing where he excels immensely; A wet race.

Is there any specific reason why we should 'mark your words'? Do you have some insight that the rest of us have been missing?
