This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
PIA looked disappointed that he missed pole. And moreover, McLaren have bandied about too much, about two #1 drivers. Many 'rules' that should stay 'internal' are out in the public. I expect NOR and PIA to fight in the opening lap, and either a coming together / overtake in T1 or T9-10 (and I hope it doesn't happen) . This is the only hope for VER or RUS or anyone else to even have the possibility for a non-McLaren win. In normal course, wet or dry, this is a cakewalk for McLaren P1-P2.
Nice way to startthe season.
I'm hopping for a 24/24 races

I've watched qualifying 3 times! I can't get over how strong they were in sector 3. I heard an interesting take on qualifying by a commentator, can't remember who. He suggested that qualifying this year is going to be a very fraught and tense affair specifically for McLaren. His reasoning behind this is that even though at least for now there's a decent performance gap between McLaren and the other teams, the 2 drivers are so closely matched that they'll be pushing hard for those milliseconds to overcome each other, so a lot of mental strength and discipline will be required. Every defeat will be a hammer blow.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Wow, I hadn't had time to get on the forum, expected pages of commentary to wade through, but looks like everyone is struggling loading the site. Top performance from the team though.
I just watched the pole lap again. The car is glued to the road. It went wherever he wanted to put it. And he got a small tow on the entrance to the straight before turns 9 and 10 lol
