Season over, Piastri WDC confirmed. Max has no chance, it was a miracle he won last year. Only because his driving was amazing. And it was the same when he won last weekend. On this circuit even a podium would be very hard. Mclaren are dominant. Game over lads. But nothing lasts forever, we had a good run of 4 years. Hope somebody proves me wrong, but I doubt it.

Will just relax and take it easy this season as a Max fan. But the gap in FP3 was more then a full second on low fuel. The question is how is Max the guy who managed to get more points than Mclaren drivers from Miami 2024. A true legend of this sport. Mark my words.

Don't knee-jerk so much :)
That 1.2+ advantage of Piastri over the grid is because McLaren had turned up the wick to Q engine mode. Norris, however poorly he drives, isn't going to be 0.2s per sector behind Piastri - that leads me to believe Piastri simply went full engine mode OR it was a purely-by-chance perfect tyre prep for the given track temp.
1+ is the kind of advantage I expect in R trim, not Q trim.

Norris will outqualify Paistri.
Norris is very "clutch" to use an American sports term.

Tsunoda is puzzling. Tyre prep is his problem. The front end is just not turning at all going into the turns. Then coming out the car doesnt shift the balance well and the rear end breaks traction. The back end could be too stiff?
But his car is messed up. Either by him or his team.
Copying Max setup is not going to help him either. Max's setups are like his toothebrush, no one else should use them.
For Sure!!

It’s not engine modes. They have a big rear wing.
