We have to take practice with a pinch of salt. It will be close. It's been close in most other races.

The race may be different.

If Mclaren dont win this WDC, they are going to waste one of the best cars in the last 15-20 years. They are just dominant. If not Max I really hope Piastri takes it, as for me he is the better driver.
I don't see why they shouldn't get the double this year. Max so far was lucky as Mclaren hasn't found any normal conditions in any weekend but eventually luck will run out.

Armchair experts and plastic D2S “fans”. The overreaction is hilarious and sad all at the same time

That's a stretch
The car shines when tyres degrade and overheat.
Qualifying will not be as drastic.
For Sure!!

While the car is the fastest of them all, it's folly to think that it's a walk in the park to extract that necessary performance and that our drivers have it easy.

^ Yeah, it’s just sitting at the park actually, enjoying a nice picnic

The delusion is abysmal..

The Red Bull looks harder to drive than the Mclaren but not far off in speed. A conservative few corners albeit set on a more evolved track suggests that Max is capable of fighting for pole, though he'll have to do another wonder lap.

Intrinsic Void why do you think that? Do you think that any driver could join Mclaren and perform immediately, knowing every part of the car and it's behavior?

Think of it like this. I have a Shadowpriest in Warcraft and I know the class in and out both in PVE and PVP. Many times I complained why X class is better doing X more and having X more skills until I tried that class and saw that it wasn't as easy as I thought.

Hopefully for once it won't be close and we are gonna be comfortably in an 1-2. I want a normal weekend for Mclaren for once. Max will have only one set of softs so he will have to make it count in one lap.

The car is good, maybe a better race car than one lap car. Not sure being comfortably 1 and 2 is normal. It's been close all races so far.

I know it will be close. I just mentioned what I really wanted to happen.

Yes I think that. And comparing games with this is just pointless, please stop it.

They were saying that the nuances and how you can adapt are important for getting the most out of it.

Would have been easier just to say that but still, it's fairly clear and relevant. It's not for you to decide what analogies they use.

Actually the concept it the same everywhere. You cannot try something new and be immediately good as someone who has spent loads of time already doing that. Remember that Schumacher needed 2 years to learn that Mercedes as good as Rosberg when he came back. Alonso needed time to learn that Alpine when he also came back. There are plenty of examples.
