A weekend where the team failed to maximize. Doesn't matter if you are fighting for soemthing,. the RB I was so used to at least got this done most weekends.

I told this would have been a struggle, even though I didn't think SO bad. Hope it's a wake up call for whom call me the pessimist :D

I know the race itself was shambles, but somehow I still think P6 was the max possible today. as it turned out SC saved the race.

Quite strange but happy with p6, I thought we would not get even some points. Its like Monza 2024, pit stops were bad, we were on the wrong tyres in the middle stint. We lost just 7 points to Lando. I would say it was a damage limitation done well today. Maybe with the better strategy we would be p5, but not a chance to be higher.

The question is how is Max just 8 points behind Lando with this car? It was a fun race otherwise. But now please Red Bull strike back, find something.

I think we could have gotten Gasly, if the team didnt mess up the first pitstop way earlier and potentially might have attacked Lewis. Other than that, keeping two mediums for the race might have been a better choice seeing others but I'll chalk it down to the team not knowing that this car would suck on the hards like last year given the hard tire performance in other races so far this year.

I see the best case as a P5 with what was in the control of the team.

Lando keeping the car outside the box early on, and that potentially having an impact on how the race goes are all also factors that we can't control. 5s for that is a joke I think but I'll leave it there as I think there was potential for a P4 today in optimal conditions with the SC happening when it happened.

I mean, we should forget the WDC. It'll be between Oscar, Lando and George as it has shown so far. Mercedes are the second best car, Ferrari are basically there, Red Bull fourth best.

Also god knows where that Alpine pace came from out of the blue.

I think Alpine were just very very quick. Gasly wasn't all that behind from Hamilton....

will Lando be the real title contender ? I was quite appalled by his performance today

anyway they NEED the Imola upgrades to work, it will be the last call for this championship (and honestly I don't have many hopes about it)

Even in the optimistic world where the upgrades work, it's not like others are going to stay stationary. McLaren are going to win the driver's or RUS might take it. I dont think there's any point in pretending that Red Bull/Max have a chance.
