Van Haren says new floor in Miami for Verstappen... Senior red bull engineer literally told other media outlet earlier today that they wouldn't have the floor

Big litmus test coming
Would be nice if we can do what McLaren did at Miami last year lmao

Big litmus test coming
This reminds me of Jock Clear last season regarding Ferraris new ‘test’ floor- I literally read a whole article where he was interviewed and couldn’t stress enough how the new floor wouldn’t be race in 2024 one race later it’s on the car for the rest of the season
I think the engineers just play games with the media
For Red Bulls sake I hope the engineer who said that there isn’t a new floor in Miami isnt the one who said that Mclaren will be no where in Spain
Just a fan's point of view

I think we should wait and see the document before we decide what has happened.

It was a sprint weekend. They need more time to understand it. Am I doing this right?

EvH is reliable. It's published to the telegraaf. That usually means it's true.
A first major update is already coming in Miami. Red Bull will introduce a new floor during the sprint weekend. Max Verstappen will drive it, teammate Yuki Tsunoda not yet. In the coming weeks, Red Bull will also come up with the necessary new parts when the European season starts, just like the competition. Verstappen has already expressed several times that he hopes those updates can make him more competitive.
It doesn't turn.

Probably the floor was the most important part of Imola package and they managed to rush a couple of elements to Miami. Have to apologize with Filisetti :D

The word 'correlation' is never mentioned by Redbull in relation to any 'update'. Neither are media spies talking about this aspect when they leak what is coming to which track etc. So either they have root cuased & solved their correlation issue (even if partially); or they are just developing blindly and hoping to continue in the same 'track data from FPs will save us eventually' hope.

After 2024 update fiasco I'm sceptical. I'll believe it when I see it.

only the floor update is mentioned in the FIA document; also van Haren mentioned this only, so I think we can assume that's it for Miami.
