This is more or less the final version of the car for the first race.
There are parts which worked well and others not so well, but so far the tests showed balanced results.
Regarding the Pink Beast - I am more than surprised to see a classic cock-bottle shaped rear end.![]()
Good luck to everyone![]()

These are both things, we need to fix. Please go to the MFlow support page about your issues.AlexTitaneGP wrote: ↑30 Apr 2025, 21:27So, the disk is quite empty actually, (916Go available) I've tried other disk, shorter path etc... and I still have the same issue.
by the way, I do not know if it's only me but it looks like the STL mandated parts and the parts which are within the MVRC_R09.stp (which was nicely organised!) are not positionned the same way, some 50mm offset there and there, and mandated suspension were not within the suspension fairings I've designed.
As I have received so many questions regarding the extension, I assume there will be many for this race. The Rusted One wrote: ↑03 May 2025, 22:08Rusted GP is going to take the 2 day extension for the Miami GP
I forgot to fully check legality for the last like 10 revisions of my car so I'm gonna have to make some quick changes.
Lovely renders and the car looks well thought out. It’s interesting to see approaches I had no success with on every other car so far, leaves me even more concerned about my car hahaFt5fTL wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 21:44Here is my challenger for the first round:

I went to the route of the "size zero" concept for this one since the rules are kinda similar to the pre- 2022 cars and the cooling is not strict as that era of MVRC. As said before, finding the right balance is very tricky. I had to unload the front wing massively for having a balanced car and i'm still not sure of the balance, it was touch and go on my simulations. I'm suprised no one is talking about the CoP calculations. I agree with the importance of the balance but i dont think it should be calculated how it is on the current sheet. Having CoP at 1.824 equals to 1 second slower lap compared to 1.825 feels illogical. If we are aimin to realistic cars we should also agree to have a realistic calculation system.
Yeah, what the hell?! I just noticed that.Ft5fTL wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 21:44I'm suprised no one is talking about the CoP calculations. I have no idea if it is successfull at all at this point. Its most certain that i got the best results with this combination but dunno, maybe a clean car like yours is the way. Need to check that "cock bottle" and a tub one like k.ko100v on some simulations. Impressive quality on the cars so far. I'm positively impressed and inspired from EaJ Racing's front wing details.
Well the thing is, i actually spend 10 runs for balancing the car with gurneys, different front wings and wing levels because of this drastic time dropoff. I get your point, but getting 1 second slower because 0.001m off doesnt feel right.spacehead3 wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 23:55The balance is basically the same as it's been the last few years, I've just given you some margin of error this time. Last year several people lost positions due to being slightly off on balance which in reality would have been able to be fine tuned at the racetrack. No real race team is doing final tuning of aero balance in CFD, and I figured you guys don't want to be spending 10 runs trying to get the perfect 0.001 CoP adjustment. You're supposed to be aiming for 1.85 +/- 0.025. I guess we could remove the margin if you really want but you'll just be making more (unrealistic) work for yourself.
Thanks, we all are waiting the reveal of the mighty Variante car.
