according to Monaghan this is the planned floor upgrade, nothing more to come
I am just assuming based on past performances. McLaren aren’t exactly efficient on a straight line. If it doesn’t change for sprint quali then we can take that as a data point for the rest of the weekend.
Neither are RB at this point. Their DRS advantage is pretty much gone and RB are actually quite draggy without it, and on this track DRS comes late on the straights.
Not complaining too much. He was fast out of the box. Went to the top on both runs on the medium. He only complained about edginess in low speed. Car looks solid in the high speed. He has not mentioned tire overheating. T16 needs improvement, but not too bad otherwise.
