This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
Redbull now solidly a front runner with McLaren. Mercedes a close third, but seem less stable than the MCL and RB.
Ferrari is looking better, but I see a lot of understeer in Lewis car. It has a lazy nose at the first turn of the wheel to initiate the corners.
Maybe needs engine braking to turn the rears. But yeah, the car generally is 4th best, with Williams and VCARB threats.
Yeah middle sector will be a nightmare like last year most likely.
How can they not fix their weakness in 1 year.
Well they are much better in the high speed
Yeah with these cars it's the trade-off that's important. McLaren have had the right balance overall. They don't lose much relative to others in any type of corners, if at all.
Is the slow speed performance differences to McLaren more of a mechanical setup and PU calibration matter?
It should be possible to have good low speed and high speed performance since one is more aero dominant.
Car just looks lazy on the nose.
Hamilton still tentative in the direction changes, but not bad for this kind of circuit in terms of gap to Charles.
He left too much time on table in first sector, and even the second he was on and off the brake and throttle.
The car will be a better race car than 4th by the looks of how lazy it is. Probably will have good tyre protection and have better race pace.
Charles going balls to the wall and to see 6th on the table is depressingly funny.
