Charles really thrives on hometown advantage, doesn't he?

He’s got a few tracks where you could say he can be viewed as an “x factor”

Always a pleasure to see Leclerc at a street circuit.

Finally some good news for Ferrari, the new brake ducts they tested in Imola to help with cooling management worked are currently on both cars this weekend

https://autoracer.it/it/ferrari-sf25-mo ... ento-imola
The corner wheel argument has been a topic of technical discussion lately due to their efficient use in tire cooling (see McLaren). On AutoRacer we had already told you that in Bahrain there had been an update to the internal ducts of the rear brakes, which was followed by further work ahead of Imola with an experimental brake duct both at an aerodynamic level and for internal flow management. A one-off test that effectively became an actual update already in the official sessions held on the banks of the Santerno a week ago. The new baskets are approved, and present on both SF-25s also in Monaco. The outcomes are positive in terms of cooling management of the inner part of the rim, something that remains, according to various industry insiders present in the Monaco paddock, rather complicated to put together without testing on track. The advantages, although not striking given they led to implementation

Not a Ferrari fan, but if Charles could pull off a win, I'd be happy.

Monaco is a confidence track, if the car is crap you don’t go fast. LEC seemed confident to me.

I figured they would fare better here. But let's see how fp2 anf 3 go. Monaco is all about how much risk you can take.
Though Norris is looking very strong.
For Sure!!
