Gonna commit war crimes against Aston Martin. This --- is worse than mclaren Honda era
What AM has to do with Engine issues...it just a bad luck.
They managed to make him loss two positions with their nonsense strategy and I'm sure it would have been even worse at the end of the race, the last of Aston problems is engine issues.
We don't know since he has the issues, maybe already at qualifications also wasn't 100% the engine . Hadjar just came out front of Alonso nose ,Alonso was shouting i can't push.

Is there any clause in his employment contract that if he did not score any point he will be released from his contract? If this trend continues, it is clear that AMR want Alonso out for some one else.

When AMR signed Honda engine, I expected this kind of issues for Alonso. Lets wait and see if AMR really want Alonso to go out from the team.

The only positive is that up until Mercedes pushed that button the pace was pretty good.

100% but if he finishes behind Stroll in points they can cancel his contract

The thinking with the hards is to bring up to temp slowly. Pushing too early on them takes alot out of them, that was the idea with Alonso saying "I can't push". He was probably not thinking that 20 laps on these hards isn't much in Monaco.

And who (which top young pilot)will go to the team after this such a bad season? You guys even serious? Alonso 2x better than Stroll even at his 60 age.

The PU failed, it didn't overheat. And there were problems with it for 20 laps...not sure what you've been watching.

Stop reacting like kids. It is obvious that the car has improved and they have the pure pace for points at different circuits. Mechanical problem, it happens, no need to be ungrateful kids now.
Car improved yes, mechanical problems are a pity yes. But strategy wise this team is piss poor. Race after race the bottle it.

Some guys here should really question themselves if a „f1 technical forum“ is the right place for their conspiracy theories, or to go elsewhere. Unbelievable BS, mods should clean the thread.

This was a golden opportunity and who knows if they will get it again. With Lawson creating a buffer and both Mercedes and Williams, usually faster than AM, being stuck in that group, they had the points easy in the back.

All that hard work from yesterday for nothing
