Come on guys.....U can call this team incompetent but doubting their character is really below par. In last 4 years, This team has given all the appreciation & respect to Alonso. They never defended themselves, even when Alonso criticized them openly. Ur disappointment is untestable but think before floating such theories.Kipck wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 16:19100% but if he finishes behind Stroll in points they can cancel his contractselvam_e2002 wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 16:08Is there any clause in his employment contract that if he did not score any point he will be released from his contract? If this trend continues, it is clear that AMR want Alonso out for some one else.
When AMR signed Honda engine, I expected this kind of issues for Alonso. Lets wait and see if AMR really want Alonso to go out from the team.

Isn't that pretty standard to run the Monaco rear wing in Spain? Probably switch up the beam wing to less drag one.
It's unusual nonetheless as there is not much time spent on the throttle here. And the engine really didn't run the race in China because of the brake failure.diffuser wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 17:39Wonder if the ICE died cause it's never been run in STRAT 6 for so many laps. STRAT 6 was only designed to run for a couple of laps. Anyways 8 races on 1 PU is enough. They probably would have used this PU for FP1 &2 only until it died....a little bit of a compromise but not much.
The new wing doesn't make it an upgrade, just FIA compliance with the stricter flexing regulations.mass_damper_enjoyer wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 17:54De La Rosa just said on DAZN there are no upgrades expected for Barcelona.
Didn't they talk last week about a new front wing or I'm wrong?
yeah this sounds just like a contract anyone in their right mind would sign. i guess they hope to go the whole season with no more points (i wonder why they even bothered to bring upgrades) . they only need to sabotage alonso 17 more times to get some worse driver to take his place. this is definitely how to run a successful f1 team.Kipck wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 16:19100% but if he finishes behind Stroll in points they can cancel his contractselvam_e2002 wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 16:08Is there any clause in his employment contract that if he did not score any point he will be released from his contract? Maybe I'm blatantly wrong but I remember reading it was going to be the first 100% new tunnel driven design, I thought it wasn't going to be just a minor revision or an "unimportant" update given they wording about it.TyreSlip wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 17:58The new wing doesn't make it an upgrade, just FIA compliance with the stricter flexing regulations.mass_damper_enjoyer wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 17:54De La Rosa just said on DAZN there are no upgrades expected for Barcelona.

Everything after the imola update is purely from new wind túnnel. So the rear wing for monaco. Newey said an upgrade package is scheduled around silverstone timemass_damper_enjoyer wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 18:22Maybe I'm blatantly wrong but I remember reading it was going to be the first 100% new tunnel driven design, I thought it wasn't going to be just a minor revision given they wording about it.TyreSlip wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 17:58The new wing doesn't make it an upgrade, just FIA compliance with the stricter flexing regulations.mass_damper_enjoyer wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 17:54De La Rosa just said on DAZN there are no upgrades expected for Barcelona.
