McLaren MCL39

The MCL39 seems to have used 2 cannon widths and 3 louver varieties so far this season. Incomplete list:

Narrow cannon: early season, Japan
Wide cannon: Imola, Monaco

Single deep convex louver: Most venues
Single shallow concave louver: Japan
Single deep convex louver + 2 short shallow louvers: Monaco

Are they running with a medium-high downforce wing this weekend? Surley the 2024 monaco wing has more downforce?

Would be worthwhile posting in "car comparison " thread too for discussion of the two.

Notionally though, if you just take a "finger in the wind" measurement of driver location, then imagine how far their legs extend forwards, it looks to be substantially behind the legislative front axle line.

The Ferrari APPEARS more so than the McL 39 in this regard.

Remember they are not in sunbathing posture, they are a bit "crouched" in a "hips forward and under but knees forward and up plus shins forward and down" positions. So I don't think their feet will be 'level' with the axle, more so since the pedals will likely be aft of the most rearward wishbone fixture.

Yes, the McLaren seems far tightly packaged longitudinally than the ferrari

To see a F1 car from above is a rare opportunity. And I was very happy to have it on this 2 photos. And having alongside the Ferrari was a bonus :)
I agree the sun shining is not same but yes, McLaren rear seems more compact and little shorter than Ferrari, It may also be tricked by the painting, having black on MCL39 vs a more clear red in SF-25.

Is this wing even new? Looks the same as the old one to me. Maybe they were already TD compliant.
