If Merc have the best engine for 2026, that could be very good news for McLaren.

AMUS is realizing it only now ? We have been talking about this since the 3rd race (Suzuka) in F1 technical. Which would mean all the teams in the paddock must have realized this from Bahrain practice or atmost from race1 itself. I've always been saying - the McLaren has so many trump cards in it's deck, compared to any other team - it's not just aero or cooling.Sevach wrote: ↑12 Jun 2025, 15:23https://twitter.com/JunaidSamodien_/sta ... 4657460693

I believe there is one coming within the next 3 races (Silverstone seems to be the most likely) however I have no source to back this up
Yeah... no @Venkyhere. You are giving the MCL39 way too much credit if you think that car has a clear advantage in every aspect when that's 100% NOT THE CASE.venkyhere wrote: ↑13 Jun 2025, 03:58AMUS is realizing it only now ? Great quoteFittingMechanics wrote: ↑13 Jun 2025, 09:24"And that's not just because the McLaren drivers at the front usually drive in clean air. The car has many little secrets that are difficult to decipher. The flexible wings, front and rear, were not one of them."
What are mermaid tails they have introduced to the front wing end plates? Have never heard of that.FittingMechanics wrote: ↑13 Jun 2025, 17:08McLaren bringing some updates to Canada.
FIA document names new front wing, updated version of medium downforce rear wing and updated front suspension geometry.
Lando will be hopeful about the new front suspension geometry.FittingMechanics wrote: ↑13 Jun 2025, 17:08McLaren bringing some updates to Canada.
