If Merc have the best engine for 2026, that could be very good news for McLaren.

Is this going to be the first season ever where we don't bring a single upgrade? Hard to see McLaren not turning to 2026 now

AMUS is realizing it only now ? We have been talking about this since the 3rd race (Suzuka) in F1 technical. Which would mean all the teams in the paddock must have realized this from Bahrain practice or atmost from race1 itself. I've always been saying - the McLaren has so many trump cards in it's deck, compared to any other team - it's not just aero or cooling.

I am not sure I am allowed to do this. but,...
I have an extra ticket for the Candiana GP. It is across the pit row.
It is 882 CAD or 645 USD. PM if interested. I rather offer to fellow Mclaren fan :)

Sold it on Stubhub
Somehow, you managed to kill the thread 🙃
No kidding, I was just thinking that and was going to post something as well. I do not remember this thread ever being this quiet. McLaren fans are chatty (Usually).
Yes. McLaren fans are very chatty. 5 pages per day on average. :P
After the flexi wing saga they can now relax and cruise to another title. Nothing for them to worry about.
For Sure!!

I believe there is one coming within the next 3 races (Silverstone seems to be the most likely) however I have no source to back this up

Yeah... no @Venkyhere. You are giving the MCL39 way too much credit if you think that car has a clear advantage in every aspect when that's 100% NOT THE CASE.

Every team, Reporter, and Analyst has determined that the Mclaren has only 1 main advantage because there would've been no way for Max to win in Imola as emphatically as he did or keep it anywhere close in Spain.

Mercedes and Redbull are 1 upgrade away, and that would very likely cause major concern for Mclaren if you gave George Russell or Max Verstappen the same advantage, especially Verstappen.

What are mermaid tails they have introduced to the front wing end plates? Have never heard of that.

Lando will be hopeful about the new front suspension geometry.

Seems the updates are just test parts, not for use in the race.

Well the wings, anyway

Are they doing tests in FP1? They are awfully quiet in terms of doing times.
