IMO the key is really the start and to stay in P1 and get in clear air. I strongly believe if this happens, the issue with the new medium missing can be corrected…

As ever it'll all be down to the start. If George can get his usual good launch and cut Max off from trying to run him out at T1 as he will no doubt be thinking of doing, then he should have a good shot of keeping the lead.

Reads to me as if George had a new medium for Q3 which Kimi didn't. George only has 2 used sets of mediums for the race left as I understand it.

By the way, I was curious and checked the track temperatures during FP1, FP2, and FP3: 43°C, 36°C, and 45°C respectively. I was under the impression it was much cooler than that, at least yesterday. So let’s see.

Plus the settings are made for the race on GR since he has more downforce than Ferrari and Max… all theories of course but let’s hope it works

Toto was quite clear regarding the warmer temps after quali, so whoever is saying "it's cool", I suspect is coming from fans of other teams who are coping a little.

Don’t you think that the max downforce setting (compared to Max and McLaren) chosen/made by GR and Mercedes won’t work for the race?
