Can say this and that, but Charles ballsed himself up yesterday, and Q in Barcelona. Needs to sort himself out, with errors creeping in. Ham a solid job. There will be opportunities tomorrow for both to come through.
Charles' only real hope is a well timed safety car. George will cook his tyres early defending Max meaning we have a DRS train of George, Max, Piastri and Hamilton or Max will clear George and run away with it. Antonelli will be a gap behind dragging Alonso, Norris and Charles. Hope for Charles is if Norris cuts his way through he might disrupt any DRS trains allowing Charles to follow. It is a shame as the car looks good this weekend.
My take for LeClerc : make up as many places off the line by starting on S, run full steam for less than 10 laps, pit, and then run in clean air on H, then strategize for the rest of the race after looking at the deg for self and others. Running into backmarkers won't be an issue as the Ferrari has enough straightline speed to use the DRS and get past traffic.
Feels like a Hail Mary. I would rather start him on hards, go deep into the race and unleash new mediums as necessary. He can even be aggressive on the hards given that he has 2 sets.
I would rather he has new mediums for the final stint
I would start Lewis on brand new mediums and let him go for it
