But the diffference is too much for such a short track. Maybe Alonso has an off weekend and Stroll has that Senna esque weekend

Or AMs don't like high temperature. Lance was competitive in all three FPs.
There is no way RB is faster then Merc; look at Lawson beating both Merc. High temperatures screwed up lot of teams. Lance is a last driver on the grid to adjust the driving style in changing conditions.RedNEO wrote: ↑28 Jun 2025, 16:39FP’s mean nothing compared to qualifying. That’s when it counts
Temperatures are the same for everybody it doesn’t change anything. Alonso delivered and Lance didnt. My post was not intended to criticise Stroll. But the fact that he left the garage very early in qualifying was not a good sign that they thought they were feeling highly competitive.
I doubt they spent the 3 free practices on low fuel and high engine mode. Probably we suffer high temperatures on this track. Anyways points will be given tomorrow, let's hope for a good fight.
I think back to Alonso saying top 3 result before Zandvoort and I’m seriously excited that Aston can actually deliver a substantial McLaren esq update that transforms their season. BRING IT ON
