Red Bull RB21

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

New rear wing for Max, a new design from RBR, moving away from their traditional U-shaped lower plane.

This looks like a typical VCARB Monza rear wing - poor tyre life guaranteed especially given how RB21 eats tyres compared to others even when the wing level is similar. Does anyone know whether they are actually using the Austria++ floor that was brought as an 'update' to Silverstone, or whether they have reverted to an older floor ? Because the car looked like a badly setup Sauber in FP1.

Just so you know car never struggled with rear tyres, it's the front that is bad. So low d9wnfirce isn't bad but it's definitely raining in Silverstone
Halo not as bad as we thought

There may bevery light Rain 1st half of the Day, but right now none of the European and global weather models predict any significant Rain during the race. Peak Rain is 2mm. Not enough for inters.

So the track may be a bit green, but no Rain race.

The wind will pick up, so the track would dry pretty fast
