Ferrari: It is difficult to interpret the words of Benedetto Vigna. He remained very vague but with a slight tendency toward Vasseur's permanence. There are intentions from the Scuderia to create a new structure where Vasseur would have less power, while Vasseur would like even more authority. So, this is somewhat the real issue today, and it’s not certain that an agreement will be reached.

Horner got sacked, so not sure if he'll get a gardening leave.
Sacked from his CEO duties on RBR but remains an employee or RBsypack wrote:Horner got sacked, so not sure if he'll get a gardening leave.
It's almost impossible to see how a TP at an F1 team can damage your brand (Horner example notwithstanding but that behavior will not be tolerated of any employee).
Hmmm seems odd to me that you could terminate someone’s employment - presumably for cause (ie performance) - and still enforce a non-compete. Unless, of course, as your response seems to indicate, he is still being paid and is therefore not strictly terminated (just not being asked to do any work). Still, I suspect he could move if he wanted to and an employment tribunal would be hard pressed to enforce any kind of gardening leave if he was relieved of all his duties (constructive dismissal).miguelalvesreis wrote: ↑11 Jul 2025, 14:06Sacked from his CEO duties on RBR but remains an employee or RBsypack wrote:Horner got sacked, so not sure if he'll get a gardening leave.

Probably no different than drivers being asked to leave while still getting paid (Perez, Danny Ric, Kimi back in the day)f1316 wrote: ↑11 Jul 2025, 22:39Hmmm seems odd to me that you could terminate someone’s employment - presumably for cause (ie performance) - and still enforce a non-compete.
