Verstappen was on new tires in SQ2. I feel like McLarens were on used mediums in SQ2.

Close, but this is what they used to waste tires on. They would be too conservative and go out multiple times.

Wow, huge margin. Commentators suggesting Lando was too aggressive on the out lap.

Oscar proves to everyone that its not enough to have a rocketcar. You need to know how to use it also.

Most of the time a rocket is more than enough.

I'm reading he was aggressive to try and deny Verstappen a tow, did anyone see anything that lends credence to that?

Mighty lap by Oscar, hoping for a 1-2 tomorrow.

No. The TV cut to him on his out lap at pouhon and it looked quick, it's going to look relatively fast on an outlap. Brundle jumped on that. That's all. No data to back this up, just usual sky commentary rubbish. The gaps remained broadly the same on the driver tracker. Teams know how important out lap prep is, very much doubt Norris side of the garage are jeopardising qualy laps looking/fearing giving verstappen a bit more of a tow.

Yes read from multiple sources that he ran a faster outlap than he would have liked. But not seen any comments from him yet

In the driver reaction video on youtube he says it's hard to tell, but they'll look into it overnight.

I admit I have seen it reported since I posted that. Mark Hughes said he pushed harder in s1 and s2 but evened it out in S3. As above Norris just said he didn't know, maybe it was better prep and they will look into it tonight.
