Norris is reported to have been too aggressive on his out lap.
Reported?! You mean that was just a Brundle normal jump to conclusion, Norris just pretty much shot it down.
I didn't see his out lap, just repeating what was said. Zero interest in playing "favourite commentators"

Doesnt feel shot down though.

When asked if he had taken too much life out of his tyres, Norris answered: “It’s impossible to say, maybe it made my tyres better. You don’t know those things, but we’ll look at it overnight.”

As usual thanks for the tyre update.
Guys who have 2H and 1M left, what are they planning to run the sprint race with ? H ? or are they planning to run a soft for the main race ?

Used M, or new H if they go for M, used M, hard in race.

According to Mark Hughes part of Landos out lap was 6 and 7 seconds faster than Oscar’s and Max’s

Can easily go fast on an out lap without being aggressive on tires. Besides, I feel like I saw Lando go purple in S3 on his provisional Pole lap during SQ3.

yeah, thing is, that the hard is two steps harder than medium this weekend, so there's quite a big difference between those choices. Personally I wouldn't have expected it to come into play for the sprint either - no idea what's the plan there. Especially for Haas, as deg usually isn't an issue for them.

Here are the SQ3 outlaps, by the way:

NOR - 55,444 34,326
VER - 61,980 32,615
LEC - 59,764 35,968
PIA - 59,096 35,265
SAI - 61,452 32,478
OCO - 61,634 31,954
BEA - 57,504 32,496
GAS - 59,307 32,507
BOR - 56,324 37,231
HAD - 52,940 39,626

Guess what. Mark Hughes was watching Sky coverage as well and happily jumped at the opportunity to create a whole story out of nothing, just like he always does.

Solid drive from Max. Rear wing setup did the trick. Norris had no chance of passing Oscar in that train. Elsewhere, it was pretty boring.

Hopefully it rains tomorrow
