Yeah, I think he caught the white line on the inside of Pouhon so he went wide off track but returned.

Coverage I'm watching didn't show it, but the commentators just mentioned.

Yeah, I used F1TV onboard so saw the moment.

Ooooh splitting the strategy.
Hard to come back 6-7 seconds and fight through. This is a smart call. Surprising others didn't do it, it's exactly type of thing you can gamble on.

Looks like Oscar will try to go to the end as well (Team stream reports that). So Piastri is managing. Let's see how it shakes out.
It is, just surprising. Was Oscar given the option?

Softs won't be much good given how the mediums have degraded, so it feels like advantage Lando.
That will be the interesting one to see if this was discussed with Oscar if it wasn't (and Lando wins) I'd be feeling a little disappointed if I was him. Lando is driving extremely well so not to take anything away from him here.
If they were both given the option than so be it though that's on him.

Is Piastri going slow for a 1 stop?

Says the tyres are good, but perhaps hes waiting till he can slot in front of Charles.

I think he will try to stick it out on a 1 stop. He has no chance of victory if he pits.

If he manages to keep them alive that will be a great drive. Lots of drivers are pitting for second set of slicks.

Yeah, its one to watch. Feels like Oscar will have to pit. But Lando may yet drop off since he's pushing more.

I would think he's trying to 1 stop if by not pushing I think Landos little off may be very costly .

I think Oscar will hold on unless the tyres fall off a cliff. Will be too far behind Lando if he pits

I think Oscar will make it work. He was managing tires from the pitstop (Norris was doing the same laptime on tires 2 steps harder) and he has a nice buffer.

These small mistakes may be difference today. Bad start, two small offs (about 2 seconds lost).

He will now.

I think his tyres will collapse at some point. But Lando has given him over 2s for free now.

Lando it seems pushing a little hard and killing his tyres. Normally he's good at tyre management but the pit stop probably forced him to push a little harder and the little offs have cost him any chance I think unless oscars tyres really go off *flashbacks to Hamilton a few years ago*
