Alonso up to 13, fighting yuki. Need more rain now...
Passed by Bearman. Wet setup gamble not working if it stays dry.
I had no problem with pitting Alonso as he wasn't going anywhere in the back of the Gasly train. The bad pit stop was the frustrating part as it ensured him to be stuck in another DRS train.
Alonso seemed to be running the Silverstone floor and sidepods. I doudt he ran the new low DF front wing with the HIgh DF rear wing.Rikrikrik wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025, 17:53I really hope they messed up a lot this weekend and that this isn't our real pace. It was pretty obvious that Alonso was going nowhere when it dried up. With the big bucket in the rear he didn't accelerate as fast into eau rouge, Antman had this speed advantage from after turn 1 all the way to turn 5. Think this was a data gathering expedition by Alonso. Let's hope it's a it's a track specific issue but they just lacked DF from the floor in S2. Even with the Big bucket in the back, Alonso was slower out of slow corners that Antman
