I am surely not the only one putting some money on an Ocon win for Sunday after FP1 long runs? :D

I did not watch the session but according to the data, Norris lifted on his best lap. They are in another universe. It's supposed to be hotter tomorrow. We'll probably see the largest qualy gap of the entire season.

Lando also didn't use DRS after the final corner on his best lap.

yeah, Norris had to lift in the final corner to correct oversteer. It was live on TV.

Seems like Mclaren were also just running a slightly lower engine mode.

You can see in all the quick change corners how insanely superior Mclaren are. Their front end is just laser-guided and with great rear downforce to back it up.

Mclaren drivers barely have to try and can still just trot out top laptimes. Put Max in this car and he breaks his own record of most wins in a season.

What the f is the point of this? Seriously, what's the point? Verstappen has had his time in the fastest car. Now is the time for Piastri and Norris.

So many pointless slow mo’s every race weekend and missing out on other people’s laps really does frustrate me big time

What do you mean? You don’t find it more interesting to look at the rear of a Haas rejoining the track in slow mo than a driver pushing to the max for a quick lap?

Yeah I seriously don’t know how it can be this bad either…

Hadjar "Norris doesn't know how to let drivers pass"

Could have fooled me, he does it all the time from the starting grid

Mclaren is just outstanding in the middle sector.
Unreal how good they are in the final year of regulations.

Seems like the track ramped up then got too roast up for the tyres to handle. McLaren looks a beast they have certainly found something on that car that just works so good and nobody else has found. Shame the soft tyres can’t do at least 3 full push laps for the drivers. I hope for a cooler Quali
