What about suzuka 22?Space-heat wrote: ↑01 Aug 2025, 17:05Are you saying Charles isn't top-level at tyre management...this is just mad, see Suzuka 24' and Monza 24'.
That car was an absolute disaster with inters. Leclerc couldn't manage the race because had Perez behin with a car that was over 1s per lap fasterSpace-heat wrote: ↑01 Aug 2025, 17:52A mid-season nerfed F1-75, a wet race, and four seasons ago. If they need to go back four seasons to make a point, it's better to just ignoreSpace-heat wrote: ↑01 Aug 2025, 17:52A mid-season nerfed F1-75, a wet race, and four seasons ago. It wasn't the tyre muncher the SF23 was, but that season was annoying as we were always lacking in race pace to RB.
Yes, but some stuff seems so out there, I assume I have misunderstood.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑01 Aug 2025, 17:59If they need to go back four seasons to make a point, it's better to just ignore![]()
Nobody who watches races could think Leclerc has bad tire management now.
The brakes might just be a car characteristic or it has to do with the way they're driving? As Leclerc complained about it and Hamilton was told repeatedly to be more careful.Space-heat wrote: ↑01 Aug 2025, 18:19
Car looks in a good place. Leclerc was complaining about the brakes in his first M run, unsure if they replaced them for the quali sim. Race pace looked good, not as strong as FP1 at a glance, but would have to see the actual chart.
Unleashing budgets caps doesn't do much to help competition at the top. F1 always goes through periods of dominance. It's actually uncommon to have seasons where multiple manufacturers have similarly competitive cars at the very front competing for a title on close grounds.f1Follower wrote: ↑01 Aug 2025, 18:08I am kind of sick of so much regulations with current F1. What we see is since 2014 one Car maker has run away with the championship. First it was Mercedes with some Ferrari fightback. Then with ground affect we see RB dominating and now Mclaren. Issue here is that in the mid season the team is unable to change the concept of the car when they find its not the right one. This is due to CFD allocations or the constraint on the money etc.
It is also very difficult to simulate all the aspects of the car in the race trim barring only 3 days of testing. Earlier there was some scope where the Car makers had to choose the allocation of tyres however currently even it is standarized.
All in all F1 has lost the charm where 2 or 3 car makers are fighting for the championship.
Charles is better representstive of the car. Lewis is being destroyed by who?j_ste wrote: ↑01 Aug 2025, 17:39Those cards involve witchcraft? Car looks fine, there is just a more fine car infront. Charles look steady in all three sectors…Lewis is being destroyed in the final sectorPlatinumZealot wrote: ↑01 Aug 2025, 15:22I told you guys they car will do well on this track. Adrian has made it clear countless times already the sort of organization he likes working for and Ferrari is definitely the opposite of that! The Ferrari of old may have tried for Adrian but they wont have bent over for him.mika vs michael wrote: ↑01 Aug 2025, 20:58Ferrari of the mighty years would have gone for Adrian Newey and then Max Verstappen, not Fred Vasseur and LH. How would having Verstappen solve any of Ferrari's problems?mika vs michael wrote: ↑01 Aug 2025, 20:58Ferrari of the mighty years would have gone for Adrian Newey and then Max Verstappen, not Fred Vasseur and LH.
