Lol. I can't do prophecies, just engineering.WardenOfTheNorth wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 17:11What numbers should I put on the Euromillions next week??PlatinumZealot wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 17:06Let it stand that when I make a prediciton such as this it shall not be doubted!

1 or 2 tenth back from mclaren in race pace.. but if it is dry and charles hold them off in turn 1, i think he can fight for winbananapeel23 wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 17:14How is the long run pace looking? Is a win from pole possible at all? Hungaroring is notriously tough to overtake at, so could Charles beat them?
That doesn't say anything unless they were done at the same time which they weren't.atanatizante wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 17:11THIS SAYS IT ALL:
LEC - 1:15.372 = POLE
...
HAM - 1:15.702 (+0.303), almost the same gap all weekend = 12th place!
Exactly silly commentdia6olo wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 17:16atanatizante wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 17:11THIS SAYS IT ALL:

You are wrong! After Q2, there was the same 3-tenths deficit between them, although it could have been closer had HAM not had that big understeer snap in turn 13, as Davidson showed us on Sky ...dia6olo wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 17:16That doesn't say anything unless they were done at the same time which they weren't.atanatizante wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 17:11THIS SAYS IT ALL:

For me, I think the reality is he is now to old, and the 2026 reg changes isn't going to change that.WardenOfTheNorth wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 17:102026 will be very telling for Lewis.dia6olo wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 16:47Like I said last week, Hamilton is now not even close to the Hamilton that many know as a 7 time champion and Ferrari truly screwed up in bringing him in, at least as far as F1 goes, I have ZERO interest in the marketing pros, from an F1 perspective they messed up big time!
Several commentators have mentioned that the ground effect cars do not suit Hamilton’s natural driving style. The new cars should be closer to what he prefers.
Now whether he should have been able to adapt or not is a whole other debate, but if the new regs don’t suit him then I don’t think anyone will be surprised to see him retire at the end of 2026.
Oh man, I feel for him.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 17:36
In a way I'm grateful we have another break after this.
Hamilton needs some time to rest and mentally get himself together. During the last "break" they spent a lot of time working so I wouldn't consider it a real break.
It's tough to see him like this. When I was in my 20s he was the driver that felt invincible. But he just needs to keep at it and things will get better, it won't be this hard forever. Other drivers new to their teams are struggling too.
