May the stars align and may McLaren begin a new era as a dominant team. Fingers crossed.

Looking forward to a fierce McLaren vs. Mercedes battle next year. As much as I'm enjoying 2025's dominance, a close fight (with another team) at the top makes the Championship much more enjoyable

Explain? He is not saying anything controversial.

This car is miles ahead of the midfield... If there where that much pace left why didn't he put it on the AM ?

“Were we to continue with these current regulations in F1 for the next two years and McLaren’s development stagnated compared to the rest of the grid, it would struggle to get out of Q1 by the end of 2026,” Fallows wrote in a column for RaceTeq.

I feel like it's sort of a "Well duh" statement. Obviously if McLaren did NOTHING while everyone else continued to innovate over the next 2 years, of course they would fall back. That comment is just verbal fluff.

All hes saying is there's plenty of time left on the table. Considering the concensus was that we are very much into diminishing returns, it was an interesting statement, suggesting that there is a considerable chunk yet to find.

It was the start of last year when some suggested the development curve would flatten noticeably. It does seem like that wasn't the case.

Ah, where would we be without them....???

Poor emphasis in the report, it was just about how fast the engineering is still evolving in the final year of this rules set. And the inference that we could be continuing to enjoy more years of this exciting convergence (were it not for promises made to the likes of Audi Gmbh to be in line with the greenwashing of industry). Sad really that such a successful period of F1 (especially the rise of McLaren) has had such a short rules set.

We've had some amazing years, but the intent of this formula to reduce outwash and make it easier to follow cars has gone to the dogs.

Aside from gratefully taking the WDC and WCC this year (I hope), these regs have gone on one year too long and close racing has once again been stifled.

Subsequent years of this formula would be even more processional.

As much as i love our trajectory, this season is not very enthusing.

Stella is also on the record that their development pace hasn't slowed down. No sign of diminishing returns for McLaren.

I'm won't complain about one dominant McLaren season, especially with closely matched drivers we have. We've endured many more seasons of other cars dominating, often with one driver clearly favored (or plain faster).

Stella also has said that some of mclarens innovations and ideas can be carried over to next years car be interesting to see how these new cars perform with them being projected 1-2 secs slower while reaching speeds of up to 400kph on some circuits

Its funny, coming from Fallows, whose team failed to develop the AMR23 so badly they actually regressed with each upgrade.
