Success in F1 comes from organization, resources, and execution as much as from individual brilliance. Adrian Newey has almost always worked with top teams with huge budgets and resources. In other words, Newey’s genius is real — but it’s also amplified because he’s always had the perfect platform to execute his ideas.
Well then, give him major credit for being able to generate that platform....

Well, McLaren actually improved after Newey left the team. The 2006 car he designed was only the third-best, while the 2007 challenger was arguably the best car on the grid. And they built that without Newey. If he truly is this all-knowing genius who single-handedly guarantees success, then how do you explain that? Newey is a brilliant designer, but he’s not a one-man army. Success in F1 comes from organization, resources, and execution as much as from individual brilliance. Adrian Newey has almost always worked with top teams with huge budgets and resources. In other words, Newey’s genius is real — but it’s also amplified because he’s always had the perfect platform to execute his ideas. If he were chief designer at a midfield team with half the budget (say, Sauber back in the day), it’s very unlikely his cars would have dominated.
I think he is a great tech leader like Brawn he pushes people hard and is good at editing, directing and tweaking, bit like Apple they are good at tweaking other companies innovation and making them popular.things like fric .f1 duct, merc fancy steering were invented somewhere not at redbull. Colin Chapman was the last true great f1 innovator.

The car just doesn't want to turn; it looks so stiff in the corners, Max even complained about stiff rear during long runs. Don't think the recent updates have helped, the car is consistently far off MCL pace than at any other point this season.

Turns 3,11,12 were painful to watch. It was like watching a walrus. However, as expected car is doing well in sector2. Not losing a massive chunk to the McLarens in turns 9 and 10 is a pleasant surprise. Turns 9 and 10 is a definite improvement over the 2024 car.

Definitely, and that at the end of this rule set, convergence of pace is nowhere.

MCL are close to qualy mode, but that won't change the fact that no one else is getting anywhere near. Red bull have looked absolutely terrible in sector 3, like worst in the field besides the Alpines and near 4 tenths off the MCL in the probably the easiest sector. 2nd best in sector 1 for RB21 still puts you 4 tenths off.

Told you this before 2024 Max win was a miracle, now in 2025 we have to accept Mclaren domination. But it wouldnt last for 2026, mark my words.

In fact, Suzuka & Imola victories in 2025 were really big miracles.
