Gutted for Lando, but maybe the burden of winning the tile if somewhat off, maybe he'll try to enjoy more.
Burden? For what is he here for? Just having a good time in a 1sec faster car?
Sorry, but sounds a bit like when my 8 year old son plays Mario Kart on the lowest setting

He is clearly still in the fight but now even if he losses the title it will be remebered that this DNF impacted the title fight and he won't blame himself too much...
No, he is not. He was never.
Like last season, this season will not be remembered at all. It is again a season of missed opportunities and mediocre performances of the drivers.
The year of the first McLaren WDC since 2008 won't be remembered? Sure, bud.
Actually I am speaking about Lando, not McLaren. The McLaren of 2025 will be historic as one of the best cars ever. I mean...I will forget about the RedBull, the McLaren was/is simply the pinnacle of this rule set.
But good example qith 2008...what I remember about 2008 is the Brazil race and Hamilton. I mean...I know that Heiki was in the second car. But what he did or how he did

The point above was, that we will remember that Lando had an engine failure. Did Heiki suffer engine failures or anything else like good starts or bad starts? I fear the same will be true if you ask anyone about Lando in two years and this is a pity.
