I really hope Lando does not win this championship!
While it is not obviously clear, it's clear enough to me that over a number of races this season so far they have in one way or another faivoured Lando at the expense of Oscar.

Like I said, in most cases they were not deliberate and obvious favoures but there's a been a lot of them even if not clear and obvious in Lando's favour!
He is nowhere near a worthy champion, there are 4 or 5 drivers that are a good bit better than Lando!
100% agree. I have been saying it for a while now that the favouritism towards Norris and their desire for him to win is ridiculous.

There are memes all over showing Zac when Norris wins and when Piastri wins. Totally different reaction. It's all about Norris, and today seals that for me.

Tragic to see this team with the capabilities from the car. Makes Ferrari look like amateurs in the memes department.

They thought Piastri would be a second driver this year but what can they do when Norris really likes to be number two after all?
Call a spade, a spade.

No Max best lap was 1:21.003, Lando piped him on last lap with 1:20.901

I’m trying to imagine that situation with Nigel Mansell and Nelson Piquet, Senna and Alain Prost… I feel I’m watching the MWDC, WDC for millennials.

They were in the battle. Otherwise it would have been a hattrick. For sure they were both racing for that. Giampiero also warned not too. Alonso went wide and that can end your race.

Ummm what are Mclaren doing? They're currently losing 1 second per lap and are staying out :wtf:
They are beat. Max had the 5,5 second gap AND the undercut. So they hoped for a SC. They almost got it with Sainz/Bearman.

Why did they pull Oscar in first though. Just do Lando first. Really weird.

Mclaren doesnt know how to win a championship or operate their drivers.
Firstly strategy was wrong. Secondly, they should have always pitted Norris first and Piastri second. They didnt gain anything for pitting so late for softs. Thirdly, a pit stop mistake is a pit stop mistake you cant ask other driver to give back position

I don’t understand what all the fuss is about. McLaren made a mistake, it was in their power to fix it and they did. They were free to race after but Piastri had no pace over Norris, fair 2nd spot to him.

Yeah, true, but just pit Lando first, then even a slow pitstop wouldn’t have mattered.
