Formula 3 regulations

Post

Hi guys

Im wondering if anyone here knows onything about Formula 3 regulations, specifically regarding the suspension systems and what the teams can change regards this.

From my understanding of the regulations, teams are free to design their own suspension systems as long as they conform to a few general regulations (max track, cross sectional area ratio and symmetricy constraints, angle of attack, have to some sort of suspension to provide movement in the wheel other than from the fixings etc)

Is this the case? Do most teams do this or is the suspension supplied by the chassis manufacturer? If they do, what can the teams change change set-up wise?

Any help would be a great help.

Thanks!

I know that at least two of the top teams fabricate some of their own suspension parts. I've no idea what the current regulation framework allows though.

Thanks for the reply Russ.
