This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
They need to be 346 points ahead of the second place come the chequered flag
I forgot about the sprint races... So it's "could" rather than "will most probably". Although still a good possibility.
It would be nice to happen next weekend, so then we can focus on the DWC fror the rest of the season, still can't believe how dominant this season was up to this point in terms of the constructors championship, both drivers very consistent.

We all know that the the constructors' championship is just a matter of time but we are not sure about the WDC and what's happening inside McLaren. Not sure, if they really prefer Lando to win the Championship ahead of Oscar? I think Oscar will win it with at least one race to go in the season.

I don't think they have a preference its all media hyped, but I guess they expected NOR to be infront but PIA surprised them all with his excellence and consistency this year, his form did not drop in the 2nd half like in the previous 2 years as well so ...., I don't really care who it will be, as long as the team is in front.
Sky F1 raised an interesting point on their podcast. Lando is no longer the favourite, sot he weight of expectations has been lifted from him and passed to Oscar. Will be interesting to see whether Lando makes fewer mistakes as a result. I think Oscar will be fine, he’s the new Iceman lol

I don’t think there’s bias, but I do think they are being very very careful to be fair and give both drivers equal treatment. It is often the case in life that where equality is the goal, some members on one side or the other will see bias.
I do think Zak is closer to Lando, but he backed him in his junior career and has been for nearly a decade. I think it is only natural that this leads to a different kind of relationship over a driver that was poached from another team.

"A combined finish of first and second, or first and third, would be enough for McLaren to become champions regardless of what second-placed Ferrari do, while beyond that they just have to outscore the Scuderia by nine points. If they manage to do that, then as long as they don’t lose 12 points to Mercedes, or 33 points to Red Bull, then McLaren will be champions.
Should the title be secured this weekend, it would mark the earliest point in a season that it has been won, with seven rounds still remaining after the trip to Azerbaijan."
