Max Verstappen is the closest to a perfect driver. Nobody is at similar level from this grid.

it was all a bit confusing, so there may be small mistakes, but the tire situation for the race should be more or less like this now:

The "d" indicates that the set is (potentially) damaged.

Max will be gone into the distance with all those slow cars between him Lando and Oscar and we wont see a single yellow flag all race like 2016 :wtf:

Yea. I thought he would comfortably win the race if he was on pole with the Mclarens starting alongside him.
Tomorrow will be one of his easiest wins, he‘ll have a 5 second lead after 2 racing laps tomorrow
Just a fan's point of view

It’s nowhere near being done. There will be red flags and 7 SCs tomorrow, so it is anyones game.

it will be difficult to build a large gap considering all the SCs we'll going to have, but for sure it's an ideal scenario for Max

Work of art by Max I want to see that lap in tricky conditions. Happy also for Sainz and Liam.

Longer quali than last years race!

But I guess that’s why Max is comfortably the best driver that’s on the F1 grid by some margin these days. Another clinical lap from him.

Not one to moan, but strange how the red flag waited for Oscar the first time round then was pretty much immediate when max had a few hundred yards left.

But guess that’s the nature of the sport.

Max win tomorrow. See where the mclarens end up given their weekend looked woeful from the outset

Even through years like 2020 and 2014 I really think this is the most disappointing year performance wise from Ferrari. We are up a creek without a paddle.

I only dip in and out of here but it sure has gone quiet.

Max is making other drivers look like amateurs in this tricky qualifying.
I reckon Norris think too much for his Q3

I read on X that Max was the only one having new soft tires for the last run. Is that true??

only him am Russell were out on new Softs, yeah. Antonelli also had some, but went for used mediums instead.

Sainz' P2 lap (his penultimate run was his fastest) also came on 7 lap old mediums, for example.

Unbelievable that none of the “experts” will tell people that!

They’ll just moan about how great that lap was and how bad the rest were without any context whatsoever…
