A shame this updates didnt come around Silverstone. Now its probably too late, but at least we can fight. And also its a motivational boost for the entire team before the new rules.

Norris screwed Max there completely, sure he'll say he was too far away but he knew 100% it will still put max in dirty air.

On the long runs in practice Verstappen's pace looked much better than Russell's. Max has to win this tomorrow with an undercut, to keep the championship hopes alive.

Mercedes was a bit better anyway, especially sector 1 was the difference maker. Don't think we had enough pace for pole. At least MCL are behind.

Norris didn’t help but I don’t think there was the time in it. Max was nearly two tenths down after sector 2. Mercedes and Russell were just rapid here. Kudos. All to play for tomorrow.

last lap S1 was good but Max was not clean in S2 and then the S3 moment, a shame

let's see tomorrow, die hard T1 or undercut will be the way

Russell's final sector on pole lap wasnt the best, so it could have been much closer. Maybe not enough, but now thanks to Norris' scummy tactics we'll never know.

Max will be on a mission from now on. This is doable but needs almost perfection for the next two months.

Yeah but they were different approaches to the lap. Max’s first lap he was more measured early and very fast at the end. On his final lap he just went full push from T1 and you could see the tyres already starting to give up towards the end of S2. The Merc had a solid 1-2 tenths advantage in S1 and that made the difference.

Merc are faster on the straights, no? will be difficult to overtake and win on track even with better degredation. Undercut also will depend heavily on gaps behind, and how close PIA and ANT are to Max. Best chance is turn 1. After that odds of a win go down a lot.

According to betting odds Verstappen has higher chance to win than Russell. At least.

Best chance is T1 of course, by going side by side but Russell won't yield

Actually wont Max be on the inside line? Just repeat what Piastri did at Jeddah to Russell. But Russell is an excellent starter and im worried more about Oscar trying to overtake Max.
