McLaren need to understand that trying to fake a pitstop every race, means it stops tricking people.
On German Sky, Wittich just said that there could even be a penalty for Norris/McLaren, as it's not allowed anymore to get the crew onto pit road without intending to pit.

with those engine problems, Toro Rosso should probably use Hadjar to open the gap for Lawson now

Mercedes strategy was predicable, stay out and hope Lewis holds up Max if not then Box. They lost about 6.5 seconds gambling on Lewis holding up Max and if tyre wear if not a issue then it might get close but you cannot overtake.

Ferrari excellent as always. when they call Hamilton at first you should start praying. What was the gap between Lewis and Antonelli again before calling for softs ?

The VER-NOR chase probably took all the attention and they forgot about LEC-ANT. Nevertheless, I am glad the tv director didnt resort to too many shots (there were a few, but not as much as Baku) of wives/girlfriends/families when track battles were going on.

Ham was also ahead of Lec and Ant at one point...did I fall asleap or did they also not show these to overtakes/switches? Ant back against Ham was at least in a replay.

It was a boring race overall but great drives from Russell, Verstappen, Alonso, and Sainz.

but they showed the Leclerc-Antonelli replay just when Hamilton was about to pass him, so at least added to some confusion ;)

But yeah, Hamilton indeed was still behind when he lost his brakes
