Im not sure they are focussed on each other, but it was a bit odd. It felt like Lando should have pitted the lap after Max.

The slow stop for Max plus gentle outlap meant Lando could have got out ahead, but i dont know for sure

Oscar was covering off Leclerc and went to pits, had a 5 second stop and exited 3 seconds AHEAD of Leclerc. So it was no where near undercut by Leclerc.

But Norris didn't want Oscar to have any chance of undercut and decided to go early and he was 5 seconds ahead of Oscar. So they could have easily went to pits 5-10 laps later.

Quite risky due to Alonso.

Maybe, I think it was a good chance to get Max.

Didn't they say Leclerc took 1.3 in a lap just before the stops.

Damage limitation race. I expected something more from Piastri today considering Lando has a broken front wing.

Max only just had Alonso. It was never over the 22seconds gap.

Max has a slow stop .8 slower than Lando and slow out lap and Lando was only 1.2 behind on track.

Alonso would have been quickly cleared wether Lando was ahead of max.or not.

He was never going to lose a place to Oscar, but a 7 lap fresher tyre won't get him by Max.

Chance gone.

mwillems, I also thought it was a chance but it was going to be hard. But I don't like when they go half assed like here, instead of going as long as you can they went relatively quickly.

Max, Lando and Oscar are slowly gaining on Russell. Our guys need to push to close the gap to Max, there are opportunities.

Yeah it was hard and close, but it was a chance and they didn't know Russell would lose a bit of pace on hards.

Just a bad track for modern F1 cars.

Yeah you need some pace delta to get past here.

Oscar will be happy with this.

Lando paying for his Q inconsistency right now. He could have taken the race to George.

Fair play to Red Bull and VCARB - they didn't try and hold back Norris.

Good fight but ultimately qualifying is the critical thing here.

There was little they could have done in the race. I'd hoped they would go longer to entertain option of SC/VSC but they are so focused on each other that it's not realistic (same for splitting strategies).

Slow day by Piastri. Norris looked to have pace to win but he was just not able to overtake.

Should have undercut Max early, tyres would have done all those laps.
