This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
Oscar was the quickest car in the second stint, sure Lando hampered by Max but OP was surprisingly much better on the hard tyre. He'll be relieved for what turned out to be a potentially tricky day. Damage limitation. Singapore is becoming like Monaco - a picture postcard opportunity with little to zero racing.
You have to stop and pinch yourself for a moment to remember how fast this team has risen to become back to back WCC- astonishing.
Sure they make some mistakes with a great car but my word, we’ve come a long way from customer Renault also-rans to taking on the big boys again- it really is fantastic.
Car is not bad, it's just that RedBull has fixed some of their teething issues and have made it more comfortable for Max. Mercedes is all over the place, they perform good one race and then they're shocking the next one. It's difficult to know whats happening over there.
But RedBull, on a good day, hasn't been far off McLarens this whole season actually (with Max only, of course). Now they're just on a good day almost everywhere. To be honest, I think McLaren could have won today, the car was good enough for it. If Lando had nailed his lap yesterday to start P2, there would have been chances to get to George.
With this result the naysayers will be out still, saying McLaren have bottled it. Next stop, a proper race track where the aero efficiency of the McLaren should come to the fore.
Congrats gyus, McLAREN ARE THE 2025 CONSTRUCTORS' CHAMPIONS, and its is a back to back championship, well done well done.... now lets get that drivers title.... LETS GO BOYS !!!
