Alonso did get driver of the day despite the race director being ignorant.

That's surprising...how does he get driver of the day when nobody saw what he did ?

Deep down everyone is Alonso fan and were finding a way to watch him. I saw all the overtakes on Reddit before I saw them on tv

Well, the best result for us, and they sacrificed Stroll to benefit Alonso for the first time. Now i dont know how good this team will be in Austin, but we know will own eyes bleeding in Mexico and Las Vegas

•I have been watching Alonso for the past 13 years now. Today's drive has been one of, if not his absolute best at Singapore.

Made it to Q3 when Lance dropped in Q1. Made up two positions at the start. Hadjar overtook him, but eventually he took back the position. He had incredible pace on the softs, and was one of the lasts to pit for a medium stint. Had a --- stop (9 sec) which put him behind a swathe of cars. Overtook Hadjar. Bearman. Sainz. Lawson. Pushed like a madman to catch Lewis. On a track where most people get stuck behind other drivers.

i doubt if they will make a big announcement about it. if its external parts, other teams would be looking to see if they can gain any knowledge on what direction newey may be taking the 26 car. and weve seen in the past that they arent always up front about their plans. if they did do some obvious experiments with suspension parts or something i think itd be in the last couple of races in the season, but we will see, or not... i dont think they have any obligations to inform anyone of testing parts during a practice session.
