Looked pretty decent in qualy and sprint last year and then the pace somewhat disappeared on Sunday. I know the Ferrari's were quick but still it was a classic RB20 mood swing.AR3-GP wrote: ↑12 Oct 2025, 17:25COTA is somewhat of a bogey track for Red Bull. Bad pitstop in 2022. Poor braking performance in 2023. ****box in 2024. The lack of rotation in T11 last year was simply embarrassing.

What do you think the pace delta is if you want to make an overtake here? Probably bigger than last year considering the convergence of the field.venkyhere wrote: ↑12 Oct 2025, 19:12Max can deal with T1 and T11 U-turns by adjusting his driving, but he is powerless if the car is a walrus through sector3 's long radius prolonged slip angle corners. If the car enables him to be just 0.1 off (or match) the sector3 time of McLaren (whichever driver is quickest) in both Q and R ; he will find a way to win. The whole thing boils down to just this single datum point, for me.
Btw, the McL is going to be nearly 1s faster than last year (that's how much they improved from 2024 to 2025).
No idea, but generally COTA is not a track where overtaking is difficult - the back straight is really long and even though the pit straight isn't lengthy, T1 is uphill and wide enough to offer different lines for a late-braking attack. So both T12 and T1 should see a lot of overtakingr85 wrote: ↑13 Oct 2025, 10:07What do you think the pace delta is if you want to make an overtake here?
