Well engine should be slightly lower on Max because I doubt McLaren is faster on the straights (they never are). T1 is mega, but to be honest I saw the onboard of Lando's lap and his T1 braking is really really conservative. Doesn't push it at all. But then again, it also looks like it might have been a mistake from Max on T6/T7. Hard to believe McLaren are that much better through there.pantherxxx wrote: ↑17 Oct 2025, 21:08Red Bull is massively sandbagging and they will win the qualy with 0.5 seconds advantage.

Either it's human error, OR it's a problem with the car setup (is that the place where Tsunoda lost the car?) OR even a case of more fuel load - typically expect the end of the esses with progressively decreasing speed (hence decreasing downforce) to have the highest 'issue' with lateral loading if more fuel is present in the car. The plots for the straights and sector3 also could be hinting at higher fuel load.Emag wrote: ↑17 Oct 2025, 21:15Well engine should be slightly lower on Max because I doubt McLaren is faster on the straights (they never are). From then onwards, gap is static corner-wise. Lando just gains a little bit on the back straight.

Max did a very very good job. Car still lacking there in my opinion.
