Yeah, would be nice if the team could bring a little more performance to push Max over the edge. It would make winning the remaining races much easier.
Mekies said after the race that they could bring an upgrade to the car…. However didn’t Helmut said after Austria that there wouldn’t be anymore major upgrades as there I’ll switch to 2026

On a side note- I’ve warmed to Verstappen over the years since 2021- there literally is no bulls**t with him

As I said before, you can't countback points like this. Mclaren would never have stopped upgrading their car if it was closer earlier in the year. Then they would still have a massive advantage.

The way the season played out has allowed Red Bull to blindside Mclaren. Now the cars are on par, and Max makes a critical difference. It doesn't happen any other way.
It doesn't turn.

Red Bull still have one final upgrade package for RB21. Even if it can gain just additional 2 tenths, that could guarantee the victory.

Still have? That’s 2 memebers who think Red Bull have a potential upgrade?

Wow what a domination by Max, but I think Lando in clean air was still slightly faster in the race pace and better on the tyres, but it was close. I cant really believe after today the fight might be really on. I say we have 10% chances now, which is low, but not impossible.

But the fact is if Max wins all the remaining races he is a champion. Or he has to take at least 6 points more then Lando in every race, or 8 more then Piastri. We have 141 points remaining, the priority should be to get Norris, as he will most likely overtake Piastri in the points. And it will happen soon.

Now I can relax and enjoy at least this win for a week.

2 tenths is a massive upgrade, I think it will be much smaller (if there will be even one)

Can't forget Max's starts this weekend, absolute perfection both times, considering how hard it is to stay ahead, he did without much fuss. Key to winning full points.

Yeah I think if he didn't lead into T1 it would be straightforward McLaren win. Very good point.

Max is currently the favourite in some bettimg sites interestingly, although him and the cars pace almost needs to be perfect each week

The odds were not with him, P2 has been very dominant on starts at COTA.

Mekies has said to Sky Sports, that there will be NO updates or further development in "reaction" to the current upturn in performance. Full focus on 2026, a small team analyses car performance from race week and looks for improvement.

So, could there be some small update that was already in the pipeline? possibly, but hearing from Mekies it's look like this is it, in terms of updates for the car.
