From a strategy point of view, I wonder if they will do S-M or M-S. McLaren might be fine with the latter, others I doubt. They might need a lot more rubber on the track to make the mediums work.

I don't think you want to start with medium in a bunch of people soft-starting with that long way to T1 ?

Track position after turn 1 is the most important thing here. Everyone in the top 10 will start on softs. There could be some variation behind them.

This circuit is notorious for big track temperatures drops during the qualifying session in the afternoon. The qualifying order could be shuffled.

I'm not sure. The cars approach the "drag limited" terminal velocity even when the power isn't all the way up because the straight is so long. The power modes will mainly affect how quickly they reach that top speed. There are indications that Ferrari is just quick on the straights and it will stay that way. Good luck to anyone who has to race them. :?

McLaren is always fastest in FP3. But yeah, this is a good gap - even when out last on an improving track
