Oscar if he wants the championship should go forward and fight. It would do wonders for him if he could do that, both points and confidence wise.

That would be a great battle to see.

Not going to lie im much more of a lando supporter for the WDC and for me personally I think max is more of a threat to lando than Oscar (despite oscar being ahead) so id like oscar to do battle with and finish ahead of max for sure.

As for lando he's going to be swarmed by those ferrari's. If he is to lose 1st position then it has to be to just 1 of the ferrari. If both get past then it could be a tricky race to navigate if Charles amd Hamilton work together. A ferrari Drs train wont be easy to pass.

But before that hopefully we get through the first corner cleanly.

Oscar is going to need the car to make up for his issues here.

Track super hot. Maybe the deg is high on other cars and Piastri can attack.

Let's hope for the best. He showed he can be fast.

Anxiety at it's highest. That huge straight and Turn 1 is gonna be crucial. Whatever Norris does better not risk an accident. He will have plenty of time to take back any lost positions as the car is the best by far here due to tyre degradation.

I saw the starts from previous years. It's gonna be very hard especially if the two Ferraris go one in left and one in right.

Great start by Lando but a poor one for Oscar

Pretty much ideal start for Norris. Excellent.

Norris though isn't that much faster than the rest for now.

2 second gap and I suspect managing tyres given the temperatures

Do we know wether Norris’s car is damaged? I hope not.

Super happy our guys were not involved with Max.

There were many issues with that fight.

That's the problem with Max, he is not only fast, but legit "dangerous" when he feels like he has nothing to lose. Max puts you in a position that you either have to concede, or mess up your race.

I respect Lewis for not budging to him, but Lewis also is in a position where he doesn't have much to lose. I doubt any of McLaren drivers would have done that, they would have just allowed the divebomb to happen.

This is also why Hamilton made a mistake, he shouldn't have gone off but instead turned into the corner (Max didn't make the corner either but was on inside). Then if there is contact it's Max's fault.

Norris learned this lesson last year.
