Lewis wouldve finished P4 without the penalty, pace wasnt quite there over the distance, still suprised the team didnt tell Lewis to slow down more after going off, you could see the big gap he formed after going off track.
You meant Lewis would’ve finished P2. This is where he was at turn 1, when Leclerc passed him off track and never returned the position. BS race.
I hear you but Lewis was 10 seconds back when he boxed, would've been hard to keep Charles behind with that kind of pace advantage on the new Softs tyres
Lewis was 2 seconds behind Charles before that mayhem with Max Verstappen. During that lap gap increased to 5 second. In addition lewis got damage and flat spotted tires.
I really cant understand how Lewis Hamilton was the only guy this race to receive a penalty.
Max and charles gained advantage for going off track at turn 1
Max drove into Lewis, lewis’ car got a big hit towards front wheel. He probably got some damage there
Then Max went off track stayed in front of Hamilton. He didnt give his place back
Hamilton tried to overtake next corner, flatspotted his tire
Then he cut the corner
I cant believe how much bad bias against Hamilton. Since 2021 especially, he gets penalties for the same cases others dont
