Looks like it working pretty well to me.
How?
He’s either got his Max blinkers on again or is completely clueless! Krack has been a disaster!

This team is so useless. All that brain bought and still the worst strategy.

Why is Fernando so slow?
Probably got told to lift and coast again. Useless team.
He was asked to lift and coast.

Becoming pretty obvious that it doesn't matter what the strategy is, the car doesn't seem to have pace.

That’s nice. Can someone lift and coast this race operations team including Krack into anywhere else that’s not Aston Martin. I think more heads will be rolling for 26 if they haven’t already.

They're lifting a coasting cause the car wears the tires too much ... You you eithe L&C or pit more times.

Anyways looks like they're all gonna bunch up behind Sainz. that will be interesting ..maybe.

The car has no speed, it destroys the tires. The team never gets the strategies right, I suppose it's partly because there's no car. On a circuit where it's easy to overtake, they have no chance. I missed you guys, but this team this year... pffff...

There is always 2 sides to a strategy, right ? The team lays it out and the drivers execute it. You'll notice that Alonso is USUALLY able to execute it better that Stroll.

Today Alonso was too slow. Alonso got stuck in traffic with the hards and the 1st set of Mediums. You get extra wear when you have to defend or pass... That results in either pitting sooner or running more laps on a slow tire. Anyways .. they pitted one lap before Ocon on the last stint. Alonso and Ocon started out lapping at about the same pace after about 15 laps Ocon was lapping .7 a lap faster. Alonso caught up later but only cause he was in traffic.

To me the other teams adjusted their setups for the Quali/race and AM F1 fell behind.

Krack needs to get the sack. Awful pit stops again and general race operations.

:) :) :) Well, yes... but look at VER and the RB guys... before the race, nobody would have bet a penny on them making the podium. But they've managed to find something. That never happens to us.

That car is faster than AMR25 by alot. Look at the constructors points. They started from pit lane, which means they changed their setup back to something closer to the sprint setup.

Gerhard Berger: Mike Krack “did not impress me”
https://www.motorsinside.com/en/f1/news ... impress-me
As a reminder, Mike Krack was in charge of the motorsport program at BMW and regularly worked with Formula E, the World Endurance Championship, and IMSA races. The Luxembourger joined Aston Martin after Otmar Szafnauer’s departure for Alpine.

« We will see what can be done,” said Gerhard Berger. « But when I look at what has been done in the DTM, I don’t see what path Aston Martin could follow with it. Since I have been here, BMW has never been truly competitive. It was always the same, one day they were in a good position but didn’t know why, and the next day they were at the bottom of the grid and still didn’t know why. When you look at that and see it over a long period, you start to question the people behind it and who was managing this project,” he revealed.

« And it’s the DTM! The DTM is excellent. But Formula 1 is another class. There, you have to be the best of the best in the world. And that’s not what I see,” explained Berger. « Sorry, I was a bit direct, but you asked me the question. That’s my opinion,” said ». Well, that’s clear now.

In DTM, the BMW team has failed to secure a title since Marco Wittmann was crowned among the drivers. In total, BMW has only won four races over the past two years.
