As incredible as this season has been for McLaren, unfortunately they have been waay off their livery game. Starting with the F175 reveal and the special liveries have been been pretty disappointing this season. Now Racing Bulls schooling us on how to properly do an iridescent livery. Anyhow, will take the titles any day over a pretty car

I've said it before, but I really think they dropped the ball hard after 2018-2021 with the liveries. Car should have remained orange, instead of these bland black liveries they've had for a while now.



This thing is still unbeaten in my opinion. With 2026 cars being similar looks-wise (from the front at least), I really hope they go for something like this next year. I do believe the FIA is "forcing" the teams to use more color in the liveries next year to avoid these black spots as well, so fingers crossed they go back to doing something like this.

Back to back WCC’s can’t have hurt either, but seeing as Zac rebuilt the team from ground up, we can thank him for that too

Looks like the Chrome branding is going to switch to Gemini full time though so expect more multi-color gradient special liveries instead. I think they went as far as they could go this year with the chrome theme, without making the full car chrome (which the FIA will not permit)
