Is Vegas going to suit Merc similar to last year? Or has their car this year slightly changed in characteristics?
If they make a setup which stresses the tyre, they're going to be okay. Max still should be the one to look out for.

Who knows. Our car’s like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.

Anytime the track is cool, Mercedes goes fast... Interlagos was cool...

- Kimi Antonelli says his relationship with George Russell has changed:
"My relationship with George is definitely changing. It's natural that he's not happy finishing behind me , just as I'm never happy when I'm behind.

The relationship has changed and will change, but there's a lot of respect between us and there's a great dynamic in the team."

Given that valuation and the reports that he's looking to sell 5% of his oen third stake in the team, that would nett him $100 million for those shares if my maths is correct.

Not a bad payday!! Especially when you consider that he originally bought his stake for around $165 million.

Your math’s a bit off, it would net him around $300 million USD. He also pulled in roughly $60 million USD last year from salary and dividends.

Saying Toto’s killing it is an understatement, he’s a fantastic businessman.

Is it?

Team valued at $6 billion. Toto has a 1/3 stake, worth $ 2 billion.

1% of 2 billion is 20 million, therefore 5% is $100 billion.

Or did I misread the report and Toto is selling a 5% stake not 5% of HIS stake?

No, you’re right, apologies! Just re-read the FT piece, he’s selling part of his stake, not a 5% chunk of the entire team.

Pisses me off that we rely on the frigging weather. I hope next year that this is no longer the case.

I’d be surprised if he stays on as TP past 2026 or 2027. He’s said plenty of times he’s not doing this forever, and he’s already started skipping a few races a year. I think he just wants to try to get the team back to fighting for championships, and then he’ll hand things over to someone else. Plus, his son just started karting, and he’s said he wants to be around more to support him as he gets into racing.
